Luis Dulin PMHNP-BC
Luis Dulin began his career in mental health as a psychiatric case manager for underserved Hispanic communities in California. Luis is bilingual in Spanish and English, which enabled him to better advocate for the communities he served. During this time, Luis began to see the lack of access to quality mental healthcare, which eventually led him to apply to further his education and broaden his scope of service.
In 2008, Luis was accepted into the Psychiatric Master’s Program at Vanderbilt School of Nursing. While completing his education at Vanderbilt University, Luis worked as a registered nurse in the psychiatric inpatient setting, gaining invaluable experience in acute mental health care. After graduating, he transitioned to work in several outpatient community mental health settings. In these roles, Luis honed his skills in providing culturally sensitive care to diverse populations.
In 2023, Luis joined the Open Minds team, bringing his wealth of experience and passion for mental health advocacy. He believes in evidence-based treatment and collaborative care, working closely with his clients to achieve the best outcomes. Known for his empathetic listening and empowering support, Luis is dedicated to guiding individuals on their wellness journey.
Beyond his clinical practice, Luis is a talented musician who believes in the healing power of music. With a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, Luis remains at the forefront of mental health care, ensuring that his clients receive the highest level of care possible.
